For this learning challenge, I read an article on deskercise. Deskersice is the name given to small exercises you can do at your desk to help keep you comfortable and focused. I chose this because I have always had a hard time sitting down and staying still. I think these exercises could really help me with that issue. Most of the ideas that I liked from this article were small stretches and movements that would help keep my muscles relaxed and comfortable. Things like neck and shoulder stretches, arm stretches, and back workouts. These are the areas that usually cause me some discomfort and I think the ideas in the article could really help.

Hey Hayden!
ReplyDeleteI think this was a good little idea to read about! I also find myself getting restless when I sit at a desk or table for too long. I find myself fidgeting, which makes it hard to focus. Maybe I should try some of these small stretches too! If anything, it might relax my muscles so I don’t feel quite so restless!
I love doing these learning challenges, so I am always interested in reading the ones that other people do. They are so interesting and also a great way to grab some extra points. This concept of deckersize is silly, but definitely important. Taking a break and moving your body helps with staying focused and being able to work longer and harder.
